Stranger says my son is her baby daddy
Dear Pastor
I am the mother of three boys and two girls. All my children are grown. My husband and I are in our senior years.
Only two of our children are living in Jamaica. One of my sons had many girlfriends. Some of my friends say that he is just like my husband. He used to have many girlfriends and I used to tell him that the time would come when he would not have any use for them. I made up my mind that I would never leave my husband. Well, I am now taking care of my husband because he has all types of ailments.
I got a call from America from a woman who says that she has a child for my son. She said she would like to find him. A friend of ours gave her our number. She said the young man wants to know his father. She said she got married and another man raised her son, but she told him from the time he was a child that his real father is Jamaican, and she would like him to know his father. I allowed her to talk to my husband. He told the young lady that he did not have our son's number, but he lied because we do have it.
We spoke to our son and told him about this woman and the call, and he said he does not even remember her.
Now, Pastor, how can a man go with a woman and have a child and he doesn't remember who she is? Our son doesn't want us to give the girl his number. She said that she does not want anything from him; the only reason she is trying to find him is because the boy wants to know his real father.

Dear A.N.,
I would suggest that you try to convince your son that he should allow you to give his number to this woman who is trying to locate him.
In fact, your husband should talk to him. As you stated in your letter, your husband was just as wild, so his son followed in his footsteps. He was just as wild as his father. I believe when your son said that he does not remember who the girl is. I am sure that when they talk, she will be able to tell him when they met and who she is, and perhaps even the occasion when they had sex. I do not see what harm can be done to him. You should also tell your son that you would like to get to know your grandson.
Pastor
